![]() ![]() Typically with Outlook 2011 (and a good network) this is fairly fast. Launch Outlook and create the user's email account, and all the messages will pull down from the Exchange server. Instead, ensure the Microsoft Database Daemon is not running (check via Activity Monitor), If that's the case, never do a rebuild - the resulting repaired database is - in my own experience thus far with several cases of this - never, ever reliable and will be corrupt again within a matter of days or a couple weeks. If the user has an Exchange account, all email should be on the server anyway. It's not possible to safely backup the Database (within the above path) while Outlook is in use. ![]() Please make sure to only ever attempt to back up the Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/Main Identity Then the only way to recover those emails is to repair the database. If the users have local-only mail (ie: not on the server, is it Exchange ?) ![]()
